I wish i had it as bad as Iowa... i live in Canada... so we dont wanna hear anything about you guys having it bad Also Darren is exempt since he lives on hipster island (aka vancouver ) where can cruise with the top down all season long. Yes im jealous LOL
Lol... I didn't know there was a "cool" side to Canada! kidding kidding.
You store yours, Alex? or drive all year long?
When someone does this, that's how you know you love your car and you got the "right" one.
In all reality if duty calls its in the garage. However i minimize my time driving it in the winter as i have another car. It spends most of its days during the winter in the garage.. basically it spends most of its days in the garage period, even in the summer, ive never left it out a single night without being garaged.

Parked my baby way in the corner by herself while i tried on new suits for work.
Then did some charcoal bbq'ing cuz it's so warm here LOL
Looking awesome Darren.
Love the photo of Tag watching you grilling! You need to post that in the dog thread!
I'm fighting it myself and am planning on squeezing out every last drop of of V8 and 6 speed goodness that I can until the first weather forecast that suggests snow. I just turned 10K and I hope to see that number rising before it goes under cover this season.
I'm going another week. This Friday is supposed to be 60 here in New England. That means I can put off winter slumber until the weekend. No detailing today. Gonna hit the road.
Had mine already to sleep and just couldn't do it. I ended up taking her out for dinner on a beautiful sunny day. :-)

I'm not putting mine away till the snow starts flying. I keep full insurance on it all year anyways, so it makes no difference to me. I'm not going to stop driving it because it's cold out. If it's cold but sunny out, (and I have the time), I'll drive it. Squeeze out as much as you can.

That was the plan. If I had a garage I'd wait until the first time salt is dropped on the roads. I'm afraid that if I do that I might miss an opportunity to wash and wax so I can throw my cover on because it got too cold.

Yeah,....I don't blame you.
Do you do a battery tender, or just disconnect the battery?
Here are some pictures I took of mine today before I took it to my house in another town(I live with my fiancee) to put it in the garage there for the winter.

I take the battery out and throw a tender on it.
So today after a nice cruise I decided to clean and detail the engine bay. I don't drive it in bad weather so it should really be a matter of dusting it off. I open the hood and it's filthy. Looks like it rained on it and on the plenum cover I notice what looks like a pebbles collected on it. So I start to clean it off but their not pebbles. They look like little craps. o_O I have to pour some warm water over it until I clean it all out. I looked around to see if anything was chewed on but nothing. I have no clues what it was. Mouse? Too big. Rat? Nah. Squirrel? Impossible. No clue what it was. WTF? Anyway tomorrow I think I'll give it a hospital type cleaning.
Wow, everyone is putting their cars away, my baby will be running through another winter, I'm just going to be putting on the Blizzaks once the weather gets colder.
