Louvers anyone?

For those of you who may be curious, this is what a 2015 GT looks like with rear louvers. So the question is: A) Do you like the look, and B) what if I painted them Ingot Silver to match the car?

Hey all,

Sorry I've been away for so long. A lot has been happening this summer. I'd just bought a house and came back from Israel a few days ago.

I'm happy to say our house has A TON of room for all our cars. Her side of the garage is a single and my side is a double. I'm planning on building a workshop in the back of the garage while the daily stays outside. I can actually fit both cars on my side

I got some new wheels. I couldn't pass up the price on the AMR Charcoal wheel package. I stuck with 19" all around as this is my daily driver in rain, snow sleet, etc. I also went with the 8.5/10" Pirelli tire package. Even though everyone complains about the Peralli tires I have had good luck with them. I had about 26,000 miles on my stock Perelli's and they still had a lot of tread left to them.

I really wanted Mustang center caps that matched the GT/CS tri-bar so I picked up the 2004 Mach 1 center caps on Ebay. I spent about 3 hours using a Dremel to shave off about 1/8" of plastic off the back of each so that they fit in the wheel. It was a little tricky because if you went too far, you ended up taking off the black backing on the cap and so light came through the other side. It certainly wasn't easy but totally worth it.

Anyway, here's some pics:

Looks great! Yeah I don't understand the Pirelli hate either. I've had the all seasons on both of my DD mustangs and have had no problems.

Looks awesome. I wondered about the center caps as soon as I saw AMR. Well done and well worth the time into it. For the record, ive had no Pirelli issues either.

Thanks...now just have to finish the suspension. Notice the slight negative camber on the front wheels ? Also getting tired of the k springs. A little too low for my taste. Trying to decide on suspension since I have to take it to a shop. Can't do it myself.

No tint, Raxiom at AM. They're already flaking? Almost as if the tint layer is peeling. Not digging at all. They've been running for 30K+ miles over a couple+ yrs now. Cheap! So I guess you get what you pay for.

Tom, going back to May 29...I'll try this again. No tint, Raxiom at AM. They're already flaking? Almost as if the tint layer is peeling. Not digging at all. They've been running for 30K+ miles over a couple+ yrs now. Cheap! So I guess you get what you pay for.

Finally have a camera on our security system that is aimed at our driveway.

My idea of a garage.

They're expensive and didn't last, in my experience. Went through two sets of them and neither lasted 30,000 miles even though they were rotated every 5,000 miles, never track-driven, etc.
