Yes, its a 66 I6, but that is long gone. Mod motor will be installed with AJE K member upfront, then i can go modern fox brakes in front. Rear axle is out of a 99 GT already in it. So all around Disk brakes is definatly in the works. Just doing rust repair right now. Check out my tumblr for tons of pictures of work so far. ShangeGT.Tumblr.com

some post-Cars & Coffee lunch pictures from Saturday. The white 2015 GT was parked next to us when we came out of the restaurant, not sure who it was. Thought that was kinda cool
The stock pictures turned out dark and crummy, so I had to use a real tacky looking filter...sorry in advance lol

^ much prefer the 3 on the left based on my latest experience (thread on here). Much prefer yours...nice car! Also, you sure that white one was a GT? Based on the grille/pony emblem, that looks like an Ecoboost or V6 even.

When I walked out, I said "oh, its not a GT " then was corrected by my friend (the black GT), who said it was a GT. I was skeptical because of the grille, but once I got closer, I saw the fog lamps in the lower bumper and the 5.0 badge. It was the anniversary edition too. It's pretty hard to tell the difference between the GT/ecoboost/V6 on the 2015's at first glance!
The 2015 looks good from some angles, but just doesn't have the overall appeal of the 10-14's IMO. I can't wait until Ford changes the front bumpers.

I think the anniversary editions get the "corralled horse" in the grill.

Gorgeous pic but...what's up with the right brake light? Only the inside light appears to be illuminated. What a gorgeous color...I m glad I ordered DIB. Are those silver stripes or white?

My latest pic, as she sits now, finally out of the garage ... being driven on the road for the first time since 12-14-2014 ... wheels don't match since this is the set-up I'll use to drive it into Boston in 3 days for the World of Wheels car show. Once there the new 19/20 staggered set-up will be getting installed.

The terrible trouble with all the color choices is how good they look! I like Sterling Gray as well! Mine was going to be gray until I knee-jerked to DIB at the last minute. The smoked features look great...very sinister looking.
Those are the 5'' silver stripes from American Muscle

The grille also happens to be essentially the same as the 05-14 Pony Package V6 grille, but all kinds of V8 Mustangs from the 1st and 2nd Gen had that type of "corral" grille...
