So jealous! How'd the brakes hold up? And are your wheels 19x10s?

Having done a couple similar events in mine, the stock non-Brembo brakes are fine. Remember though, this is NOT a competition event either.

Yep. I put away both of them (04 Cobra, 11 GT500) yesterday. At least they have some company so to speak. My friend and neighbor recently put up a massive storage garage about 1/4 mile away from our houses.

So mine shares space with his collection. He has a
68 Camaro SS,
07 Shelby GT500 with 350 miles,
2012 Camaro Vert,
2014 Corvette,
42ft Diesel Pusher,
New Conversion van
14 Jeep Rubicon.

I just picked up a new VW Touareg TDI R Line for my new daily driver duties. I love this vehicle. 407 Torque and AWD should help ease the pain of winter a bit.

The brakes held up ok over the two sessions I did. I never got a chance to swap out the fluid for Dot 4 before the event. I do have Hawk ceramic front brake pads, so they weren't the factory pads, but they aren't a huge upgrade either. Yes, my wheels are 19x10's all around.

Correct, so i didn't have to get on the brakes a ton. But I did get decent use out of them.

Looking good!

I really want to take a drive today, cause today seems to be the last day of good weather here... As of Tuesday (according to the local weather guesser), it's cold and snow for at least a few weeks...

Nice! I asked because I remember your other thread. You're still using the stock Pirellis right? If so, you just sold me on the 19x10s I've been contemplating. I was wondering if the tires were going to look too stretched, until I get some 275/40s, but they look fine on yours!

Sadly, I did not get the Mustang out today... I was responsible and did an oil change on my bike instead...

That is correct, still have the stock tires. They do look slightly stretched, but not like the stupid import scene does with their tire stretching.

Yeah that's doable for me. 255s are rated for 10" wheels, but I still didn't want that stretched look that you speak of lol. I had a couple 19x9.5 wheels that I liked too, but I was really sold on some 19x10s. I'm glad they work. They're temp anwyays. My 19s will be my "winter" set. I have some staggered 20s that I have picked out for next summer.

Hello all!

I joined recently. Just bought this 2014 (barely used). It's the dealer's photo. It just arrived to my house via car carrier last night at 10pm. The photo attached is one the dealer had posted online. I will upload some of my own photos soon.

White with red 401A, six speed manual. My (realistic) dream car.
