But the body was straight as an arrow and the paint was beyond flawless. Whoever prepped and shot that Mustang is the consumate pro. So, the more I realized how perfect the finish was, the more I appreciated the car.
I didn't take a shot of the roof, but in directly under the sun it was bright gold.

Agreed. At first I thought WTF? The Chrome Illusion/Mystic Chrome/whatever it's called, is soooo 10 years old. But the body was straight as an arrow and the paint was beyond flawless. Great shots. Makes me want to get some better camera equipment. My Dad has been looking at getting rims similar to those. Not any time soon though. I hope he does, the track pack rims look great but are the hardest rims to clean. There's always a spot I miss! kanine, you did a great job showing how DIB looks in the sun.
Skill of the magician, tony... Skill of the magician. Forget the wand
Thanks Russ! Dark siders indeed. Yeah detailing is a lot of work but oh so rewarding.
Beautiful car under any circumstances!

BA indeed!
Thx I do appreciate the input...went ahead and installed the scoop though. I think it adds just the right amount without going overboard. If the GT/CS would not have come with the fender scoops already Id not have dony any of the scoops. But I love the menassing look it has now!

Last time Lil Red and the Stallion will be parked together.
Lil Red is going away tonight, to a nice young kid going off to college.

He actually used a Nikon equivalent of the Canon I want funny enough.
Crazy expensive to. Like 15+ at times. Looks worth it though considering they take apart everything in the car to paint it.
True, I need to work on my angles and get more creative. I've also got to find a place with decent lighting. There's not a ton of great places for pictures around here.
I might be going to a drag strip in a few days, hope to get some awesome shots.

Fooling around last weekend in my brothers Trackside Tire compound at the Lucas Oil Nationals in Brainerd, MN. Not sure what Paul is suggesting in the last photo but I think he's me.
