/QUOTE]Well look on forums. I paid $100 for my 1.8 used, sold it for 90 and got a like new 1.4 for 300. I'd say look at reviews and just decide if its important to you. I'm knowledgeable about canon so I can't shed light however I know the canon 1.4 is remarkable.
