Thanks, springs would definitely help but I have to keep reminding myself of my priorities, I have another hobby sitting in the garage (racecar) that I need to get going.

Thanks, I've wanted a decent dslr camera and got an older hand-me-down from a relative. It's definitely better than nothing to practice and improve with until I can eventually get what I would like.

Thanks! And those are real. We had to cut the hole ourselves because apparently the dealer needed a full day to do it. Most nerve-racking thing ever, but it came out great.

 

Oh sweet! I just asked cause I rarely see real hood pins, usually they're the cheap "pepboys" pins . I'd be nervous about it too, and I'd sure be measuring a thousand times to get it perfect.

How's the visibility with the quarter window louvers? I've been debating on a set, but I look out of them to check blind spots.

I guess it's ok, I don't get to drive it at the moment unfortunately. My dad has never complained about visibility however. As long as you don't get the full cover louvers you can still see out the slits. They should be angled right to get a view out there.

 

That's a big ol' set of ***** to cut holes in the hood of a new car. I had an SGT that came with them and I was nervous just having them on there in case someone popped the hood without pulling the pins, like a lot jockey at a dealership when I had to have a TPMS sensor replaced. I don't think I could actually cut holes in one myself.

A few pics of her from the AM show yesterday. Was a lot of fun. Couldn't believe how many Mustangs there were. It was a Mustang carnival. Cruised up with some members of my club. It was my first time cruising with a group and that was cool.
