However, would you agree, that with today's editing software, a photographer doesn't have to worry "too" much about getting the perfect combination of shutter speed, aperture, filter, etc... because everything can be tweaked in editors such as lightroom. That's why with me, I used to bring all my CPL's, etc etc... now I don't bother. One lens. And, on top of that, I don't have to worry about hand/movement blur due to a slow shutter speed (dusk shots) as much, since I can add exposure in Lightroom.

It's not the size/kind of the wand but the skill of the magician

So true, I've turned some bad shots into amazing ones with Lightroom. If a picture comes out a little dark I don't worry about it all. That and raw pictures seem to come out a little darker then jpeg. Cool pictures dsp and dfink

The closer you are to how you want the shot when you release the shutter the better. You can do a lot in PS or Lightroom, but I prefer to spend as little time as possible editing. I prefer photography to graphic arts I suppose. Worry "too" much? Not sure, guess that's relative. I think the CPL is still needed, you can't replicate that in software. I still carry a tripod and multiple lenses. Maybe I'm just old school. Still shoot film, too.

Just saying, with the new tech available, I can even make a "bad" shot look really "good" just by software.
Agreed and you do beautiful work with both the photos and the detailing Burton!

Thanks for the kind words, Kyle. I just wish I had more time! I remember before kids, I'd spend so much time on my side business...saved a lot of money that way

LOL... what ego?

Russ nice photos. For the autoshow pics, did you use a 50mm lens? Love the shots.

And the Burton US open? You would think I should be good at snowboarding given the name credentials. But nope. I've ski'd once in my life. much less snowboard.

The 2015 mustang is a beautiful car but the outside doesn't look "Mustang" to me. I love the technical advances they made. The outside maybe looks like a far off evolution of the new edge mustang... maybe and then I am still reaching haha. Good pics though

I got to see my Mustang for the first time in 4 months yesterday and stupid me forgot to unplug the battery cable, so it was completely dead! But after a charge from O'Reilys, I got it going again! Getting a oil change right now and tomorrow taking it on a 1200 mile trip home... Feels good to drive it again!

You should replace that 12v...if you let it sit for that long without a tender, it's pretty much shot. It won't hold a charge for as long going forward. Don't want to have it leave you stranded one day.

I'm having the dealer check the battery for me... If they recommend to replace it, I'll definitely do it, but I am hoping it'll get me home first and then I can replace it there... I just don't drive the car much! It's almost 2 years old with only 4k miles...
