Splitters aren't street legal. It's Federal law.
As I stated above, splitters aren't street legal. Federal statute says so. My grandfather had a Viper ACR in 2006 that had a splitter and we got pulled over and the car towed. That's why the Boss 302 comes with that smaller, street splitter, while the Laguna Seca comes with a track splitter that's not installed from the factory, for the simple reason that they aren't street legal.

Albeit I drive mine twice a year for maybe 30 minutes each time but I've never been given any **** about it. There is no way a cop is gonna pull me over for an illegal splitter. It's just not going to happen. However no front plate is a guarantee pullover from a state trooper.
