The 50mm 1.8 seems like a winner for macro shots. I have been really trying to learn to adjust the settings on the fly.

I lucked out and got my combo for around $650. T5i Canon with the 18-55mm STM lens which has quiet auto focus when using video. Regular price is around $850. I just couldn't pass it up.

Thank you for all the awesome comments.

If you want a good camera, don't worry so much about the body, the lenses are far more important.

Back in the day I was shooting with nothing but L series lenses on a Rebel xti body and getting nothing short of professional quality photos. I upgraded to a 40D at the time they were new to have a full size body but the photos really weren't much different.

Now I just have a camera phone because I lost the passion and sold all my camera **** lol

i originally bought the 7D because the body fit my larger hands better than the rebels. However the camera was just overwhelming and worth too much for the use i made of it, so i sold it. I had lost passion for it too. Until now

My favorite subject... On the roof of Hotel Capo D' Africa in downtown Rome, Italy which is incidentally two blocks from the Coliseum.

Un-edited.

Are you going to sell me the 24-105 L that came with that camera? I actually have two 7Ds that I use all the time for sports.

LOL, no, as i kept the lense for a reason, knowing i may one day get back into it. However, it is older and not the fastest auto lense.

Yeah I just wish I had my gear still for the occasional car shoot and that's really it. But man I hated taking 500 photos that looked similar and then having to sort through them to find which one was the absolute best to start processing, and then hated doing light processing. Decided I didn't have time for it, plus hated being "that guy" with the big camera when I went someplace.

Thanks Tony.

Oh, and nice to see a comment about a latest pic, and not something camera-related.

Guys, seriously, there are other threads just for photography, cameras, and all that other baloney.

Please keep it on topic

The install went well. It took around 2 hours (I was being VERY cautious)

There was a guide I found and followed online which helped a lot! PM me and I'll let you know where I found it.

Pulling the headlights was 3 screws per side and it was a must when trying to get the bumper back on without interference.

if you plan on putting those tips on your stock mufflers, it won't happen, not if you don't want those tips sticking out of the rear and making it look awful

You'll need new axelbacks

Looks good Joe!

I didn't know they made quads for the 6. What's the brand? Have a link to the product? More importantly, how does it sound?????????? Need vids please

edit: 6500th post! I just turned into a "Mustang Fanatic", apparently. LOL

If you have gmail, you can upload it to your google drive account, set the share property to 'anyone with the link' and then post the link in here.
