Darren - Your front plate is not that much different from mine. Fortunately our State Patrol is okay with mine.

 

It decided to rain... I guess god thought I needed a car wash. Gotta love wax.

I don't think I've posted pics here before. Added a black grille pony in place of the chrome one yesterday. But no pics with that.

 

You would probably be kicking my *** if you saw how it looked before the rain. I've been out of town; preoccupied, or the weather hasn't permitted in any of my free time. It was filthy.

Lol... That's understandable man. We all get busy sometimes. Marilyn gets detailed often, but lately with family and work, it's been less and less.

Ha so true. If I drive my other cars in rain, I admit I cringe a little then quickly get over it

 

Washed, then applied CG Glossworkz Glaze, then Victoria Red. I have to get her out today for a drive and more pics.

 

She got cleaned today. Cell phone pic. Just sitting out front on a beautiful Spring day.

Thanks! No lowering though. I prefer muscle cars to stay jacked. I like a more classic stance.

When you get a chance to post a pic with that, I'd love to see it. Not a huge fan of the V6's bright chrome pony and was thinking about trying to find a darker one like the GT's have. Curious what it looks like with the chrome grille surround. Where did you find the darker pony?

 

Did a lil more dipping today, this stuff is awesome!

 

What do you use for technique when applying the glaze? I always end up getting frustrated when applying it and then wiping it off before it dries. Small sections by hand is a pain. I'm using Meg's.

 

Finally a nice day and both our cars clean (GF's and mine) so we can take some pics of both beasts together

 

Same here I'm not a real fan it looks cool but just not very high on my list of mods! I'd be tearing stuff off driving around the roads where I live!

 

UPDATE:

I got up at 6am today, and figured why not... installed everything I have left, just waiting on my boys at STEEDA to send me my MOROSO aluminum fuse box cover, and brake fluid cover... Their engine dress up pieces are pretty pricey, but man, do they look good when installed...

I also installed my Redline Tuning Elite hood struts, and removed the awful stock hood bar... These are WELL worth the money... A MUST UPGRADE...















Then I figured, even though rain is probable next week, I cleaned her... Still a LOT to learn detailing, but I think I am getting a little better...
