Did you guys see my 2 threads lately explaining my situation the last 2 weeks??? It's been hell on earth. Don't get me started lol. Check out my threads in this section.

But yeah I WAS borla true and true. But man, I tell you... Not so much anymore. All I can say is, check your welds and fitment. Gabe, you all tuned?

I can't say I'm super happy with the way those HUGE Borla tips can't seem to ever sit centered, but I took a "whatever" attitude toward them .... I'm not willing to take a huge financial hit to get yet another exhaust set-up.
Maybe when/if I get sick of how loud the set-up is, lol

Tuned? Not yet. Just ordered a tune from JDM, we'll see if they can get my throttle dead spot issue figured out...

Yeah gabe for the borlas they refunded me since it was a manufacturing defect. So the corsas were essentially an exchange.

So what's your exhaust now? Just borla axleback? You'll probably want a full catback soon enough.

As for the tune question I asked, I meant did you get dyno tuned yet? I remember you saying you were going to putt putt it home from the installer then get dyno tuned so you can actually drive her. Have you done it yet?

That's cool about the exchange ...

The tune has an issue that my tuner is working on but has been having a hard time with.
I'm trying a JDM tune and going from there.
Stepping on the gas pedal, for the first 1/4"-1/2" nothing happens, then the throttle plates jerk open. Not a fun way to drive the car. I left with 495 rwhp/426 rwtq on a VERY dialed-back-timing tune, since he wanted the throttle issue figured out before going crazy for power.

Sorry to hear about the tune issues. Doesn't whipple offer a box tune? My Maggie came with a box tune via SCT straight from Magnuson themselves. Worked perfect right off the bat. That was part of reason I went with them... They prided themselves on their tune writing, conservative but right on the money...~530-550whp.

So how does your car feel in general with the whipple? You lovin it? I haven't really seen a review writeup from you yet...

Oh to keep on topic here's another pic

Haha Thomas! You are right. When we did the install, it was raining outside and poor Marilyn got a little wet. I detailed and waxed her right after though

I ordered a tuner kit, so no tune, no tuner.
It is what it is. Even the best run into issues.
Looking forward to loading that JDM tune. Hopefully tomorrow.
Going to look at another yellow Mach 1 tomorrow ... The one from yesterday didn't work out

She's fine at wot, i am making boost, decent amount of whine, and good power, but general drivability kinda sucks right now.

Lmao, i thought about you right away. They were specifically instructed not to wash the car. The paint is pristine and untouched, never been washed. Car has 3.2 miles on it.

Thanks bro, there was a bunch of people surrounding the car when it arrived looking at the inside and taking pics. It really is nice in person.

looks great xtc! love the red, i thought about it but didn't have the ***** to go through with it on my gray.

and on that note, ill see your unwrapped 401A and raise you an unwrapped 401A!

I did the same thing, NO cosmetic prep (this is how I drove it off the lot, literally) and my paint is pristine with not a tiny swirl to be seen…the only way to go IMO

that red looks amazing. I wish my car came with the stone leather. Would be a nice contrast.

Ok pic time… been a while. I finally got a chance to showcase my Milans and my Corsas. New toys I picked up over the course of the winter hibernation. Pics taken with Nikon D60, and combo 50mm lens and 85mm lens.
