I love the Red Candy or Ruby Red stripes. Makes it more subtle. Plus paint > vinyl!

I think it looks nice. There are times I wish my race-red stripes were the darker ruby red.

As far as vinyl/paint, the painted stripes do look better. The difference with vinyl is that they can be changed far more easily, and since my wife is the kind of person that likes lots of different colors, I'm expecting her to ask me to change the stripe colors any time now.

Some people here do hate the cold and the snow. I for one don't.

Maybe just my opinion but they who claim to hate winter most likely have never gotten wild on a 160+hp snowmobile out in the middle of nowhere or walked along a deer trail through 30" inches of snow in a pine forest when it's -20 outside and just absorbed the quiet and beauty it brings. I have all spring, summer and fall to play with the Nightrod Special and Mustang!

Lazer,

I'm one of the ten worse picture takers ever born onto the earth. I've never been able to capture the true red color of the stripes on the car. It looks different from just about every light angle...in any case the color turned out not to be the bright candy red I was shooting for. Its not bad, just different. Thanks for the mention!

John

John... I'm not sure what you are on, but your car, especially and including the striped, are phenomenal. I love that metallic subtle red stripe your car is showcasing. I think it's gorgeous. I prefer that over the brighter reds.

I hear ya. Being on a black base, the darker red won't stand out as much, but I still like it better than the bright reds, which are also more common. It looks pretty bright in this picture too!

I wish I could contribute more to this thread in terms of pics

But lately, I've just been SO elated about finally being able to DRIVE her, post winter, that I haven't bothered to plan a shoot, bringing my tripod/camera, etc..... besides, still too cold out to stand around and take time elapse photos and what not. But really, I've just been so excited about driving her, period. I take every opportunity to go out. I put on about 100 miles on her since this weekend!!!

But anyways, more photos soon...some time.

Thanks for that Burton. The only thing I’m usually on is copious amounts of real cheap beer…but I digress! It just seems like the total package isn't "pulled together" as nicely as many other cars I see in this thread. Maybe it's just me looking at the grass on the other side of the fence and thinking it's a lot greener...
