2010-2014 Ford Mustang S-197 Gen II Lets see your latest Pics PHOTO GALLERY
Wow... you really opened a WHOLE Can of Worms with that question, didn't you?

I have to take a moment and reflect on that one. Have you seen my Detailing 101 Thread in the Car Care section? I would suggest you read that one. It may SEEM like a lot of work, but it really isn't. It's a lot of common sense. My friends give me grief, but Step 1 should be:
Intercept new car at Dealership as it gets off the delivery truck.
hahahahahahahaha
But seriously, it's proper washing techniques, claying, paint correction (buffing).... those are the major ones. Glazing, Sealing, and Waxing accounts for less than 5% of the "look" that you get. 95% of the work of getting that wetness and shine is from claying and paint correction.
Steeda Sport springs. Koni Sport ("yellows") struts/shocks, GT500 strut mounts.
As far as the badge, it's Plasti-Dipped

And I love it. It matches the Plasti-Dipped decklid panel and hood vents, and anything else that's black on the outside of the car, lol.

Where can I get this plasti dip stuff? I also thought tho, that folks can just buy the matte black 5.0 badges? I still wonder how easy it is to remove and install.
You can get it at Home Depot or Lowe's. It's in the spray paint section. Gabe, the car looks great. How's the handling is the next question. I want to do the same parts but with adjustable sway bars so I can dial it in a little more if I want more oversteer or understeer.
I got my Plasti-Dip at the local True Value store.

Just got back from a test drive that included back roads and highway, and even a "launch" in an empty parking lot, and I love it ... it hooks better, corners flat, and is smooth otherwise, no worse than stock, if anything probably smoother.
Love it, Love it, Love it!
Should've done it sooner, lol
Did a full bore wash today... including claying the Borla tips, and loving my boar's hair brush for the lug nuts and calipers. Dried her with FK425, then topped with Victoria's Red.
Marilyn gleams from the roof down to her tips (the claying shows??? lol)
Also showing off my new shorty antenna. The last pic is a close up of her swirl free paint

Thanks man.
I just adjusted the panhard bar too ... it was only off about 1/16" - 1/18" to the left, but it's just about perfectly centered now.
Can't wait to drive it again
