Hey Toronto Folks,

My friend and I plan to order two 2013 GT, he is getting the regular GT and I m getting the CS package. I was hoping to get some of your input on this.

1. Which dealer is good (based on pricing, and customer service)

2. I understand there is a $2,000 delivery allowance and $1,000 costco member ship rebate at the moment. But I heard generally Ford has its employee pricing event from June to August, would the price get better then? (the Costco discount cannot be used during that time as it expires by May 31)

3. How does the X plan work? Can I just buy ONE share of ford and take advantage of the X plan? Does it work with the current discount, and does it work during the employee pricing months.

4. I called a dealer, and she told me that their dealer recommend 87 octane gas, no need to step it up to 89 or 91 (but the official site ford.ca recommended premium gas)

5. If anyone in Toronto is interested in getting a mustang or a ford recently, contact me perhaps we can get a group discount =D

I bought my Shelby and Raptor from Bill Aitken at Heritage Ford. Great to deal with, no BS.
Lots of members from the GTAMC have bought from hime as well.

Employee pricing is on from July to August, sometimes a bit longer. I bought my Shelby during that time in 2010. While they have great discounts during that time, the interest rates fromFord Credit will usually be higher.

 

It's just a shell game....
Pay less on the product, pay more on the financing rates.
Pay less on the financing rates, pay more for the vehicle (less incentives)

The only way to make out like a bandit is getting a great delivery allowance + close to invoice cost and pay cash.
Fusions right now have a 5500 delivery with 1000 for Costco. (that deal may come and go, but its been around for YEARS)

Hi Folks, went to pick up my 2013 vert last night - (cant upload my pics for some reason) - Wanted to let the gear head community to know, feel free to go to East court and talk to Mark - he is a mustang gear head, and all round excellent service guy at East court. Anyone in the GTA - east area needs to go see my Sales rep Margaret Lo to work their deal, she is awesome and puts your needs 1st -

They currently have a 2012 boss in the show room, much below list - has the recaro seats, and diff package, anyone looking for a red one, this one is staring at you in the showroom - Tell Margaret - RIck said hi with the White GT vert - the $100 referral she would offer me, i dont want it, feel free to ask her for it for dinner out when you guys order and pick up your car, this is my little gift to the Stang community - Im sure Margaret wont mind - 416 - 292 -1172 - BTW , her management team (Vineet) support her very well - Im sure you will find your experience their exceptional , no wonder i bought 3 cars from them - And for those of you that knwo me well, i never give out compliments _ LOL - but this please deserves it !

Dont mean to thread jack, but on that note.. I don't know what your experience was but, Bill Aitken at Heritage ford is all things Mustang, and is definately the best in the GTA, I'd also check him out.

Thanks, when I saw it the first time on the black cars, it looked very out of place. On the white , the chrome is hidden better, still a little disappointed we lost the fogs in the grille...but it does look cleaner without it. I'm happy I went with the black rims as well with the spoiler delete...has a different stance with the vert down.

Will do some proper angle shots for everyone , white may not be a popular color, but it matches perfectly with my wife's edge sport. What a bargain these cars are when compared with other convertibles from other brands ....ford is getting this car perfect.

 

Honestly, I kinda like the V6 grille on the Canadian GTs. You may not think you have unique styling because the V6 looks exactly the same, but in the grand scheme of GTs, you guys have very rare cars.

I'm getting used to it, but it would have been better for us in Canada if they would have just did te CS grille on all GTs , I'm ok with the lack of fogs, it's the chrome wrap around im still having trouble accepting....but I get over it when I turn the key every morning

 

True, the GT/CS grille would've been nice, maybe with the standard running pony in the center versus the tribar offset...then it would be really unique!
