This is my latest addition to the garage.

 

Ford has done a very good job in the darker blue department on the S197's and S550's....Vista, Kona, DIB....all very rich looking.

 

finally got some time to work on cleaning up my car- it needed it BAD. cleaned wheels inside and out, rear brakes were getting a little thin, so went ahead and did those...had debated on the red calipers for a long time, they needed cleaned up, so did the ricer thing to them

hopefully tomorrow will do the blackout on the bottom of the front bumper- changed it out years ago, still havent got around to re-blacking the bottom lip

 

finally got the front blackout redone...jeez, took me years to get around to it, better late than never. redid the rear rotors too, mask lines were bad, ran the car on stands slowly and brushed the line around the brake swept surface to round it out still need to clean the front fenderwells, usually just spray tire shine under there and wipe off

 

Just curious, I haven't posted in a few years. My 2007 CS will be 10 years old in December. I can't believe 10 years have flown by. I was wondering on the mileage for the posters here on the board. I only have 3,050 miles. Yes that's correct. Anybody have less?

 

I have more, but I don't have a lot.
I finally broke the 15K mark this year on my 2006!

 

That's about what I put on mine annually, rolled 35k this summer. Your car your choice but I say drive it more!

ive got 77,500 on my 06 GT, wifes got 28k-ish on her 07... but the 09 GT is still undriven virgin at 5.3 miles... had 3.4 when flatbedded home, about a quarter mile a year moving it around occasionally

 

yeah I know- been busy working lately and no time to take it out- my little guy is now almost 14, I stuffed him in the back at the dealer back in 2006 when they had one CS/GT white with black stripes- we took it for a ride and I ordered mine. He is starting to eye it, I told him he can have it when he is 30

 

my 18 yr old son got two runs in mine down the track last night heres a pic of him with it the day we picked it up...time flies

its a 69, bought in 82 from original owner, she had got it in 69 as a graduation present! 302-2v, but i pulled that out in 84, and got busy for a decade working 80-90+ hours a week, lifes rollercoaster tossed a few hills in the path, and next thing you know, three decades blew by... the past 5 years ive just been burned out, all ive been able to get into with any passion at all has been kids projects, but havent really done much at all this summer- time to get off my butt and do something.

from old days from the first week i had it, to the three decades of sitting engineless, to the current rusted shell that hasnt been touched at all for three years...still big plans, just my life's clock has ticked to different priorities for a long time...if its ever to get done, i just gotta make it even a little bit of a priority again...
