our 09 is about 2 1/2 now, has like 4 miles on it...never been on the road, never plated, flatbedded from Michigan to our Ohio driveway with 3.something on it...only gets moved around enough to keep stuff lubed up a bit- afraid to start driving it, as dont need to: drive the same car everyday anyway(except its a 06).
love the 06 enough that a few years later - after seeing the '10 reveal(still cant get past those taillights) ordered a identical spare for it.
it wont last forever, is 'just a car', but man do I like driving it...God forbid if I outlast the 06, theres a 'rewind button' just sitting there in the garage
if the 06 outlasts me, the wife and kids shouldnt have much trouble getting rid of the 09...
the 06 has about 43k on it, drive it as much as possible, still as much fun as the day we picked it up in dec 05...long as no salt on the roads, and no hail warnings, its burnin gas
the wife drives her 07 V6 most of the summer too -if we gotta take all the kids we either caravan, or drive my old marquis or her truck. love these Mustangs though...still daydreaming about a route66 caravan trip someday- maybe the breakin run for the 09 when the kids are old enough to drive...mileage would REALLY suck though...

Wow! Don't think I'd be able to not drive it

She didn't do too bad as she is loaded down with stereo equipment in the trunk and I didn't remove any of the items I had with me for the weekend. Ran consistant 13.4x@100 most of the 11 passes. Not too shabby in 100% daily driver form. She now is sitting at 118K miles (only about 5K since last August), but has gotten a break last August when I bought another daily driver. I don't see how people can have a nice Mustang and not drive the heck out of it during nice weather

+1 on loving your car Kooldawg.
I love how you managed to make style statements on your car, but managed to make everything somewhat subtle, so you see the whole car when you look at it, instead of being put off by all the "accessories" someone has put on.
VBers rock!
