I just finnally got to see a tungsten in person, I had been skeptical on the color since people said it was "girly". I had been checking all the dealerships around me and none of them ever had a tungsten on their lot. I had searched fritz ford dealership's lot on the net and saw that they were getting a tunsten v6 vert on their lot. I called them but the lady said it hadn't come in yet. I asked her if she could give me a call when it arrivved, but she never did. I kept driving the dealership but they only had 2006 v6 verts in other colors. Today I drove to school to buy my books, and on my way home I thought, what the heck, lets stop by the dealership. As I approached I thought to myself, I NEED to see this color. Everyone seems to have seen it but me and my car arrives later this month. I saw their line of v6 verts and noticed that the very last one(the farthest away from me) was a grey v6. At first i thought it was an 05 mineral grey but as I got closer I noticed that it had NO brown, and I saw a hint of purple... Let me just say this, it DEFINATELY has a purple hue to it, I saw it at dusk, but I aslo LOVED the color, It was B-E-A-utiful. I think that visiting this site prepared me for the color, so there was no shock. Since the color has a lavender hue it makes the color POP. If it were just grey, it would be kina boring :worship: :worship: :worship: Now for the question. I ordered my car with the roush leather( I love that two-tone leather) and it comes with black & grey leather. I know how good the ICAP looks on the black cars and I hear its nice on silver and mineral grey, but i didnt want that much red anyway. I was just considering having them put the two-tone red leather in my tungsten. I was comparing the red tailights agains the dark "purple" silver and there was alot of contrast. So should i put red or greay two-tone leather seats in?

 

Search ebay for 2006 Mustang. There were two Tungstens with ICAP on there earlier today.

I have Tungsten with ICAP in my GT, and I LOVE it! The ICAP just sets it off. I would definatly go ICAP.

Thanks, Louis. I gotta do something to keep my sanity until I order in March '06!!! I see you're a big fan of Tungsten with Satin Silver stripes. You know what kills me? All the Tungsten GT's delivered and nobody has dropped the skunkers down on their baby. If they have, they're holding back the pics... and that ain't right. :nono:

the red looks perfect when the top is down but imo, when the top is up the three colors "the large amount of black top the most" it looks to busy or its just my taste or eyes

anyway, I would not want the red interior upgrade on a toungsten car if not a vert. it looks best on coupe or vert in black, white, red,
