Hey guys I thought I would add a couple of shots. Just finished the stripes and rear wing. SOon I will be adding some clear front and side markers as well as a custom rear fake gas cap of my own design.

I like it!

I really like the hood stripe... I was thinking of doing the same thing in red... Did you get yours from Baltimore Street Mods?

Yep Hood stripe is from BSM I will say that the single fat stripe is indeed a real kick in the nutz to install. Goes on fine until you get to the bottom of the hood about the last 10 inches or so. I found that if you peel back the paper and use a hair dryer and lots of solution it is easier. You still have to fight and work the thing into submission . I think the results are worth the effort but be prepared to spend some time here.

Yeah, I had a funny feeling that stripe would be a PITA... I still might try doing it, for the price, you can't beat it! We'll see...

And I am diggin' the Gas cap! Is it an overlay or a custom job?

I got a take off gas cap from a local custom shop here in Tulsa and ordered the center piece from Mustangs unlimited. It's for a 68 cobra jet. Once I figured out that I could not overlay the stocker I used my dremel tool to remove the entire center of the factory cap, worked the bevel just right so that the contour of the new emblem fit just right and put the new one in from the inside and afixed it with JB weld. I then back filled the void with hot glue which was light weight and solid and used industrial 3m tape to adhere back to the trunk lid. Sounds more complicated than it actualy was. The custom cap thing is a great mod for people wanting somthing different. Just find somthing you like thats round, concave and will fit into roughly a 3 1/4 inch opening and wala. I just wasn't feeling the same old same old that everyone and there brother has. I wanted somthing that no one else would have.

Yes they are very amber when lit up, a must have....avoid the egg yolk look...but beware they are not cheap (but I've given up on cheap mods). There are tons of threads on this issue.....

First MODS are done!

Finally did some mods to my 2006 white GT. Shelby wheels and Legend splitter. To come are GT/CS rear bumper and Shelby spoiler (haven't decided which brand yet). I was going with the full Shelby front end but I like the fogs in the grill too much (plus its $$$).
