Thanks Ed. Actually I'd like to be up in your area in the summer when it gets 105 in the shade here!

Hey Ed that is one beautiful vert!
Gee I've been posting more on the White forum than the Redfire forum lately. My first car (I'm an older guy -60) was a white 1960 Chevy Impala vert with powder blue interior. I bought it used in 1968. It was a fun car and I kept it new looking. It probably would be worth some money if I had it now.

My Baby

Here are some of the photos of my baby, my daily driver & the answer to my mid-life crisis.

She makes driving back and forth to work a real treat, along with very enjoyable, occasional weekend pleasure cruises.

Some folks asked "Why did you order her in white."

I think we all know the multiple great answers to that.

Looks great! Where did you get these floormats if you don't mind me asking, or did they come with the car? I also have graphite interior, but I have plain graphite floor mats.

Thanks,

I purchased the floor mats locally at Dallas Mustang Parts,

http://www.dallasmustang.com/

Also you can do a "Floor mats" search in the forum for other source locations.

FYI, I was born and raised in NM, 17 yrs. in Albuq. then graduated college in Las Cruces. Got married and moved to DFW area for my career in 78.

Okay...so I have major spring fever right now. I have a set of GTA Axle backs, FRPP shocks and an Eibach pro kit sitting in my living room. (no wife or live in girl friend to make me move it) I'm also inches away from ordering some new rims and tires. Once I get everything installed I'll be postin some new pics! Anyone else got the same bug?!?!

Here's my new baby! I normally am not a big white car fan, but the white car, black top and red interior looks really good!

When I bought mine, there was a lady getting a black GT convertible with the red interior and it looked *really* good... But then again, I paid about $8,000 less than she did, so for that price difference, white looks awesome!

I have the same fever, but a wife to keep me in check I couldn't resist and ordered a Hurst shifter today though.

I haven't been here in a while. I had mine posted before everything was lost last year. Here it is again.

Jack, you ever thought about clear turns?? I think they would blend better, maybe even do smoke ones....just a thought. Still a great looking car with a cool stripe on the hood! I was thinking something like that but with two wide blue stripes with red pinstripe, but alas I chick'd out...
