Top stripes are painted, gt 350 side stripes are vinyl.
LOVE those stripes!!
Any more pics I can drool over?

Buckman,
Are those real FR500's or replicas? I think they're the first black set I've seen on an S197 other than mine.
They are replicas made by Dynatek Racing. The authentics are made by Fikse I believe (correct me if I am wrong!) and they are insanely expensive. With all the mods I have so far, my wife would probably divorce me if I went through Fikse!

Your car looks great, gotta love the Performance White!

I am not sure about the Fikse wheels, soon as I saw they were about 1k/per I started shopping around elsewhere. I know they are forged wheels and they are lightweight too.

I was asking about the Dynateks. I've never heard of them and was wondering what offset they were.

I think you you are getting the FR500's confused with the FR500-C's. As far as I know, Fikse doesn't make the FR500 wheels like you & I have. I'm pretty sure only 2 companies make wheels like ours. Ford Racing (authentic) and Wheel Replicas (which are the replicas that all the aftermarket companies are selling)

If I'm way off base with all this info, please, let me know.

Yes, you are right, just checked back in on Fikse's site, I think I may have been blinded by the cost

Here is a link to Dynatek Racing. They build Mustang kit packages. I think they are mainly into Road Course type events.

Thanks for the link.
They don't list the offset on the website.

Mike Nice looking car.

Just curious, did you remove your GT/CS stripes or were they not installed per your request?

Thanks, I have not done anything to her yet. The dealer took them off after they added the racing strips, they did the whole package. I want to get her dyno'd before I go crazy with the mods.

Okay. Here's mine. It's really stock right now, (other than the mirrors and some interior alluminum accents from MGW LTD) but HEY! I just ordered GTA exhaust (not shown), and plan on lowering it this spring. Any recommendations on lowering kits????

Mike,
You're gonna confuss a lot people with a GT/CS and no GT/CS stripe.

Looks great. I like when things are just a little different.

aahh. A stock (well, almost stock) white GT w/ spoiler delete. Brings back memories.

I just lowered the back of mine using the Steeda Sport springs. As long as you stick with one of the common names like Steeda, Roush, Tokico, Ford Racing, Eibach, etc, you'll be fine with whichever springs you choose.

Here's mine: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2381545

HA HA! Very cool Jason! I dig your walnut steering wheel. I was thinking about black rims for a while too. But I watched Miami Vice the other day and they had these white Range Rovers with White rims and I thought that was the S***!!! I've found white 18" and17" rims for the stang...but I want 19"!!

Thanks! Everyone thinks I'm crazy for spending so much money on it, it was one of those "had to have it" mods.
Good luck with those white wheels.

I didn't know what I was missing, until I saw the pics above. The dealer took them off, because they said it didn't look right. I'm not so sure now.

Didn't looked right, as in there was something wrong with them or he just didn't like them? Also, did he charge you extra for the LeMans racing stripes?

You know what might look good and still be different is to put the GT/CS stripe down low along the bottom of the rocker panel and keep the Lemans stripes.
