Hi
I'm new on the forum. hopefully I attached the pics correctly. I have an 05 GT... Totally obsessed with this car. going down my list: CAI- check, Dual exhaust- check, rims-check, tint- as much as I can get away with in VA.... In the next 6 months I'd like to redo the seats (factory tan cloth right now) I want to do black/tan leather 2 tone, and put a gold stripe on to match the gold rocker stripe I've already got.... Wouldn't mind throwing a bazooka bass tube in the trunk too- I'm guilty of loving obnoxious bass

That's a nice car; I like your retro approach to photography as well.

I'm usually not that much in favor of knee-jerk stripes; "I can do it so I will, eh?" I'd guess that major striping would distract from some of the other details you've already incorporated.

IMO
White needs stripes.
My Vista Blue has none.
My Redfire had none.
I would not have bought my Performance White without stripes.
BTW check out exactly how my stripes are around the scoops.
Little hard to see, but it goes to pinstripes in the front middle:

I thought so too! Especially this part:

"You'll know it's me when I come through your town
I'm gonna ride around in style
I'm gonna drive everybody wild
'Cause I'll have the only one there is around."

The '68 GT emblems are from the hubcaps right?
They look nice. I am looking for something different from stock for mine too.
Yes, those are from the center hub caps. I didn't realize it when I purchased them that they were slightly concave. So I had to spend some time heating them and flattening them out in order for them to sit flush against the body. Then just applied some double sided trim tape and presto-chango...

I've yet to see another set on a newer Mustang.

Good stuff, well-photographed.
Thank you. Between cars and photography, it's hard for me to say which is my biggest passion.

You're in San Diego like me, maybe we should get together for a photo shoot of our Stangs.

Here is a before and a couple of afters. New wheels are next. I'm thinking of staggered black bullitts 17x9s and 17x10s.
