Couple new pics (56k is a no no)
Well I was leaving work today (yes on a Saturday), last one out, and just couldnt help but notice how happy my car looked today, she was strutting. So I attached one of my lenses to my camera and just took a couple shots before taking off. Today's highlights are the 18" Polished bullitts I upgraded to (from the 17s, still for sale btw ), THANKS CHRIS! You cant see the 281 badges attached to the GT emblems on the side, but I'll get better pics sometime. Enjoy!
The site I saw coming out the hallway, how lovely.

PLEASE!!! Give me some details on your hood pins. Your location of the pins and the tethers are exactly the look I am looking for. What make of pins are they.
Oh, and the car look great.

Thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate it. I'm a glamour photographer on the side as well, getting ready to step into automobile and wedding stuff soon.
The pins I originally used were the Sparco pins I think, that you can buy online almost anywhere. They were bolted to the frame. When I got into an accident in August, the front of my car was wrecked, and the body shop that did the repairs under Progressive, didnt want to do the pins, so they put on the CDC stick ons. When I get another hood, I'll get the real ones drilled in again.
As for the pics, I used my EOS 20D for this one, with my Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 Xi DR lens. Shot at 100 ISO, 3.2 aperture, and I believe 320 shutter speed. I exposed off of the brightest reflection so that the camera would underexpose and pull out more shadows. I then just adjusted the saturation and slight curves and voila.

Beautiful photography Your car looks great, clean and simple. I'm not a fan of the SCT/4.6 emblems on the back but if you like them that's all that matters.

right now i have a canon powershot g9 for just point and shoot and a nikon d80, how do you think the d80 compares to the canon eos 20d.
i've always liked canons, espcially the eos slrs but when i purchased my d80, it was a killer deal and came with 2 lenses so i couldnt say no
also, when do you use larger aperture and smaller?

Yeah - a painted chin spoiler with the stripes continued onto them would really finish her off IMO

Also, the wider your aperture (again, f/2.8 for example), the more light you are letting into the sensor, and the higher you can get your shutter speeds. Try shooting in Aperture Priority mode (Av mode) and getting the hang of it.
