I was also under the impression you can use a Midwest auto intake cover with the Steeda strut tower brace.
Are you having problems with the install of both?
Added: I would like to know because both are on my winter mod list.
Thanks

You technically could run them both at the same time, but they do make contact. I'd rather not scuff up the cover, so I'll just use it at shows.

FWIW - That set-up works fine on mine. Yes it touches, but after about 1000 miles, I still don't see any obvious rub marks.
I also put one washer under each of the 4 points to raise it higher.

PS - Steve, nice avatar
I have the same problem going over my Saleen Supercharger, there is no clearence. Roush is developing a strut bar system that ties into two frame and fire wall points. They claim it's in the works, and will be an alternative to having to go over the engine. I've also considered a custom bar that is forward of the center, and has dual bar support over the lowest tapered span of the Saleen SC. Now I'll wait to see what roush has done. Erik
