I went to my dealer and while I was getting the maintenance on my '06 done, I went to the parts department to ask about the power packs for the 05 - 08 v6 Mustangs. They pulled up nothing (so far) as far the Ford Racing Power Upgrade Packages. They did however, pull up performance springs and a dual exhaust kit for the v6, but that's it. I was hoping to get a price on it, in case I wanted to get it for my Mustang. I guess I'll have to try back at a later time.

I used to have a v6 and it was hard to get any performance products at first, but more are around. I'm not sure how cheap it would be, but you could ask KC how much it would be for a stock H-pipe and over axle pipes. That'll mate up to the 6er cats, then you can get what ever mufflers you want. I used the SLP loudmouths on both my sixer (auto trans) and the GT (manual trans) I have now, and honestly, it made more noise on the V6. You can get takeoff bumpers from newtakeoff.com for around 300 bucks shipped and painted. Hope that helps.

A stock H-pipe (w/cats) is $1200 and won't mate up with the V6 exhaust manifolds right anyway even though the rests of the pipes are the same.

The one I had worked perfectly fine. And I seriously doubt it'll run 1200 cause you can get replacement stainless pipes for a fraction of that.
