was funny, but was it really four miles per gallon? Or was it only 4mpg because he was flooring it around the track at 100+mph?

I'm inclined to think that driven regularly it'll be the 12mpg he said Ford claims he can get. I have no idea how that compares to other supercars, but I bet its gotta be close.

Top Gear is a great show, wish it was on more often here.

I bought the first french issue of EVO and they drove the GT from london to ferrari headquarters, parked it right in the middle of the ferrari campus or whatever you wanna call it and took pictures of all the people gathering around... quite funny... Anyways, those guys were very impressed at how well it was doing in terms of mileage. They said 12mpg, i dunno if they were just quoting ford's numbers, but they did drive it quite a distance, so i'm sure it did pretty well to give them such a good impression.

Any car you test driven the way they drove that thing would get horrible gas mileage. To take a 550hp car out and beat heck out of it all day and then complain about mileage is utter stupidity. I've seen other reviews by these guys before. They rarely say anything good about anything we make. Let's face it, if they didn't like this car, they aren't going to like anything else we make. This is the best we've got.
I saw the one about the Corvette. I'm no Chevy fan, but they beat that poor thing down. I'm still not 100% sure I believe that drag race they did. The TVR pretty much embarressed it.

Dude, you gotta understand these guys. They're out to get laughs basically. They're out to entertain. I say they do a darn good job. Trust me, they like this car. Any car that any one of those three likes will no doubt be criticized at some point by the other two. They criticize absolutely everything except maybe the Veyron and the DB9. Jeremy bought that car, sure he returned it for a while cause of a faulty alarm system, but that was just to get attention, and he bought it back eventually. And then he included it in a comparison on the show between the Ford, the F430 and the Pagani Zonda. If they're putting a ford in with those guys, you know they respect the thing. You should watch that episode actually, its a darn good one. Its the November 27 2005 episode (07x03), get it here at finalgear.com. The same episode has a great review of the new Focus ST, and they also have the Iosis in the studio, and believe me, they praise them both quite a lot... too bad they couldn't drive the iosis though.

Maybe I just don't know them well enough. I don't get Speed channel here, so if they appear on there, I won't see them anytime soon.
