I'm looking at getting a new SHO, with the performance package, Eagle F1 tires. Obviously they're not made for the snow.

Are they the same band-type sensors my Stang had, like this:

I'd like to get some snow tires on new wheels, but don't want to pay TireRack or DiscountTire their costs -- much too high. If I can buy them on ebay and attach them myself like I did on my Mustang I'd be much happier.

Any info you've got would be appreciated.
