Thumbs up RAPTOR IN THE HOUSE! (well in town anyway...)

The nearest town to me just put a Raptor on the lot! I'm surprised they got one for stock so early although it is a truck town for sure. (Relax Gary, its a 5.4L ). But as bad as the economy is (12+% UE) - and looking worse for ag because of low snowpack, they still have the ***** to put an ADM on it. I won't deal with this local stealership but drive an extra hour to another one across the Cascades, but at least I got to see one.

Sorry for the crap pics - not only on a cell but the snow was blowin' and goin' every other minute.

MSRP $45,545 + $3997 ADM = $49,542.

The Raptor is tall, but not as tall as I imagined - and certainly not as tall as some you see around here. LOL

Here's the standard equipment (if you can read it).

ADM, there is really nothing else worse except maybe a kick in the junk.

And they give the 5.4L V8 at no extra charge, that's nice. Where's the supercharger?

Once I get a job again, I'm considering a Raptor and a Taurus SHO, as the 2011 GT will be out of my affordable insurance bracket. I'm leaning towards the Raptor though. I'm a sucker for orange cars, especially orange Fords, but I think I'd have to go with Black on the Raptor. I like the orange, but with all the gray cladding, the Black looks better to me. Plus if I got the orange, I'd HAVE to get the orange interior, adding more $$.

I think I'd order it in Black, with the 5.4 to save up front (FRPP Whipple away from spanking the 6.2), Moon Roof and Tailgate step. I'd like the heated mirrors, but don't need all the other stuff in the Luxury Package. I'd also like the EP, but again it makes you add the Lux Pkg.

There was one around here back in January and I wanted to trade my 2007 f250 turbo diesel for it. Too bad I need the f250 for plowing/hauling/towing to make money.
