I like it (and I don't really care for smog-era 70's cars!). I've only seen one rusting away on a lot, and the other was a Mercury Comet owned/driven by a little old lady - although I haven't seen it around for awhile. The photos you posted sure make me not mind having one, that's for sure. A "BOSS-ified" version would be sweet...

Yeah Paul, thats looks like it's in good shape...I know the parts are hard to find, so the key is to find one that is in good overall condition to save as much time and money to complete was is bad or missing...the last one my dad owned he had a 351 cleveland in it and cut out the strut towers and relocated them to make room for the motor...I guess the heads on the cleveland motors stick out further sideways...the motor angles out more..?

Fortunately I know a guy big into Mavericks so parts are not an issue for me to get for the most part.
The Cleveland is a wider engine and the exhaust is large enough that any header makes it a very tight fit on many cars.
