I think so...the car was already painted when my dad bought it...I wouldn't put it past my dad to re-paint the car the right color, but I doubt it will happen since the paint on this car is almost perfect...

The photos you posted sure make me not mind having one, that's for sure. A "BOSS-ified" version would be sweet...
My dad was looking for a Maverick for several years before finally finding one, he was very particular as to how he wanted it. He really wanted a true Grabber because that is what he originally had...Before he bought one, I had only a faint idea of what they were, but never thought they were that appealing until he bought one....and a BOSS one would be pretty cool

Nice Maverick! I picked up a nearly Rust free '72 a couple months ago for a project base...not a Grabber but to find a solid one is hard enough.

Yeah Paul, thats looks like it's in good shape...I know the parts are hard to find, so the key is to find one that is in good overall condition to save as much time and money to complete was is bad or missing...the last one my dad owned he had a 351 cleveland in it and cut out the strut towers and relocated them to make room for the motor...I guess the heads on the cleveland motors stick out further sideways...the motor angles out more..?

Fortunately I know a guy big into Mavericks so parts are not an issue for me to get for the most part.

The Cleveland is a wider engine and the exhaust is large enough that any header makes it a very tight fit on many cars.

Nice!

I've always liked the lines of the two door Maverick and I think it's generally underappreciated by Ford fans.
