Nor should they. That's just hideous. Looks like a deranged Easter Infinity.

I'm pretty sure that if Lincoln needed a coupe, they'd have one by now. I'm guessin' it's not a market like it used to be, or when Ford was making the 'new' TBird, it wouldn't have been a TBird, it'd have been the Mark IX.

Besides, the S550 is too small for a Lincoln coupe. They'd need to stretch it a bit, make it more '97 Tbird/cougar/Mark VIII in size.

IMO. Whatever, I'm not buyin' one anyway.

Style is subjective, but more to the point Caddy is selling about 3 of those a month. Lincoln needs an expensive-to-make, very-slow-selling vehicle like a submarine needs a screen door.

i do agree. my opinion is that rendering is hideous. The entire lincoln line looks ugly to me. Out here i see way more caddys, CTS's especially, than new lincolns.

I'm personally interested in the ELR (pictured above) as an electric hybrid alternative to a Tesla. Ford/Lincoln don't have a hybrid in the sport/luxury class that i'm aware of.

Don't get an ELR. It's literally an $80k Volt with a pretty exterior. You get worse performance and worse mpg than the Volt too. Don't get a Tesla either. Trust me. Wait for the second or third generation of these cars to make a decision. It's not worth it to be the early adopter here.

IMO I love the design of the elr (haven't read anything about the performance yet). But for Lincoln, they need to build up a YOUNGER customer base before they go into the coupe/sports car range. The MKc and MKz are a good start, the designs are nice and they should get more people to take a look at Lincoln.
