That looks sweet! But Volvo's have always looked better in pics than in real life... But this one might change that

Wow, I think I'm in love. That looks amzing, way better than the Rabbit, Focus, or next-gen Mini. I hope they do a Sport/R model.

over on www.swedespeed.com, although rumors, their are strong indications that volvo will offer a C30R w/ 260 ish HP and components from the coveted S60R. the T5 model is estimated to have 218 or 220 HP.

So far from the pics, I agree... but what about the price? I hope they price it under 20K to compete against those mentioned, but from the looks of it, that probably wont happen.

Looks like it will compete stylistically and prise-wise with the Audi A3 imo

Arrgh! I find myself liking this car (esp. if it has a turbo/AWD spec.) already. One of the nicest looking Volvos in recent memory. So, will Ford finally use that chassis for the U.S. Focus when it is time to be replaced in Europe? I wish Ford would stop ignoring the small-car market/B-segment.

I've never been a fan of hatchbacks but that thing is very cool. I agree about it being the best looking Volvo.

I definitely like it. If its priced under the S40-which is $24,000-it will definitely do well, say around $17-22,000.
