Personally, I find myself hard pressed to find anything I don't like about that car., but obviously, thats just me.
You're all probably tired of hearing this because I think I've said it in most if not all threads with Falcons in them, but I'd trade my Bullitt for one of those

I too think it is a fantastic car and one would be in my driveway if it were sold in the States. And what's with the aversion towards RWD in a sedan. If executed properly (keyword) it would be a nice addition to FMC car lineup.

Well, Bob Lutz said you can't make RWD beat the CAFÉ tandards, and since Bob Lutz is always right, doing RWD sedans in the future (though not now, you should totally buy a G8) would be bad.
More seriously, the principle problem I have with the current Falcon is that there are other priorities rather than finding a way to import a costly, limited-market Aussie. Keeping the rest of the car lineup fresh and competetive, figuring out how to survive the doom of the SUV, rebuilding the "small" truck segment, and working on new drivetrain tech all take money that probably should be diverted to Falcon importing.

RWD BMW's get better mileage than the FWD MKS, so does the 375 horse Hyundai Genesis.
People that think RWD means bad gas mileage don't know what they are talking about, and there's always a market for good cars, not everybody cares if it costs a few more bucks to fill their cars up anyways.

I agree with the cost and logistics involved with importing the Falcon. My comment was directed at the prospects of a new GRWD platform and the possibilities of a future FMC RWD sedan for the States.

so that everyone is clear and see's the entire picture for comparisons sake:
BMW 5:
528i (3.0 I6, 230hp, RWD)= 18/28
528xi (3.0 I6, 230hp, AWD)= 17/25
535i (3.0 I6T, 300hp, RWD)= 17/26
535xi (3.0 I6T, 300hp, AWD)= 16/25
550i (V8, 360hp, RWD)= 15/22
vs.
MKS:
FWD (270hp)= 17/24
AWD (270hp)= 17/23
if ur comparing base vs base, then the 5 series is getting only slightly better mpg, i'm thinking it was a huge margin from ur statement. also note, the MKS is making more hp in base form vs the 5 series, anyway just throwing in actual EPA #'s so that everyone gets a better picture.
