Deb & I ask you to pray for us
Dear fellow Mustangers,
I had to take Deb tp the hospital last week because her doctor wanted her to have her colon checked. When we arrived at the doctors office he noticed that Deb had been taking Previced for acid reflux twice a day and told her they were going to check her throat since they were going to have her under anyway. Imagine our surprise when we got the results, they told her she had Esophageal Cancer. Upon further testing they found 4 nodules in her chest. We just got home from the hospital a little while ago from them doing a biopsy on one of the nodules and we will find out the results next Tuesday. We know she will have to have chemo but we're just asking that you pray for us that it's not going to be serious. We have faith in GOD that HE will get us through these rough times.
Thank you,
Skip & Deborah Hamer

Skip, im sorry to hear this, but like you said, put your faith in the lord and he will provide. I know you guys will make it through with flying colors, so stay strong. I've been through it with my grandfather, dad and even my wife, and it is rough but you guys can weather the storm.
Man, I had a bunch of philosophical words about a recent experience, but I decided to shut my pie hole and just wish you the best. You'll know how to deal with things, and I wish her the best as well.
Sorry to hear about this Skip. Our thoughts and prayers are with the both of you.
My mother had a battle with cancer in the recent past and she beat it, so keep your chin up and keep your wife fighting! Like freebass said, moden medicene has come a long way, but a positive outlook will do just as much for your wife as well.

Thanks guys & gals. It means a lot to have people you've never met care about what you're going through. With everyones thoughts & prayers there's no way we can be anything but positive. Deb's a trooper, she's already ready for the fight.
