Dad Just Ordered a 2010 Taurus.

My Dad has been thinking about buying a 2010 Taurus for several months. He's 78 years old. For the last few days, he has been asking me a lot of questions about the Taurus, things like gas mileage, prices, options, etc. Today, he and my Mon stopped by. He showed me a paper and told me, "look what i just ordered". It's a candy red Limited Taurus. He got all kinds of options. Moon roof, g.p.s., automatic windshield wipers and a lot more things that i can't remember. He even is getting the steering wheel paddle shifter LOL!!! The total cost is almost $39,000. He is really excited about ordering it. I thought i would share this happy happening with all of you.

For $39,000 he could've bought a SHO.

I test drove new Taurus and is really a nice car (much nicer than my Fusion). I wouldn't mind owning one.

My Dad doesn't want a AWD car. If i needed a large car, a Taurus would be at the top of my list. I sat in one a few months ago, it felt and looked very nice, sitting behind the steering wheel. I live alone, so it has too much room for me LOL!!!

Zoran, you not going to get an equally equipped SHO for the price of a Limited with Nav, Adaptive Cruise, etc at $39K! I have an SHO on my lot, and it has all the options sans the 20" wheels and its $44,850! A little bit more than $39,000.

Too bad he didn't get a CLI Taurus. I hear they have something really nice under the hood.
