That rarely, if ever, stops this sort of thing. In fact, often a rep from another company will be brought on specifically to facilitate future cooperation.

I agree with you, but given the previous litigation there might be a problem.

I can see the reasoning behind your argument, but in light of the fact that International has been completely skunked in the courts thus far I'm going to side with Moosetang on this one. In fact, I think this is an area where the previous litigation you mentioned might make future developments that much smoother for Ford Motor since International has a serious amount of egg on it's face and Ford might have a legal avenue to pursue other relationships more aggresively than they otherwise could because of it.

And since this thread seems like a good place to make a wishlist. I would love to see a TDi Ford-Caterpillar V-12 replace the current Powerstroke V8 in the Super Duty trucks. It would be abit more expensive to produce than the typical TDi V-8, but bragging rights would be out of this world.
