These things built and priced properly would/could do battle with performance sports sedans such as BMW 5 series, some MBs and things like the Charger.

I really want to like the Falcon, but in the side view it looks to me just like my brother-in-law's last generation Nissan Maxima .... Not that it's a bad car, but the styling just doesn't appeal to me...

Yeah, this thing is stacked, but I don't think this is the kind of car to replace the vic. The vic just needs juiced up.
