4.0l Straight six with Dual Overhead Camshafts with variable independant timing. Dual knock sensors.
254hp @ 5250rpm
287lbft @ 2500rpm
Available as a propane exclusive engine as well, power drops to 208hp and 280lbft.
Optional turbocharged variant:
Turbocharged 4.0l Straight six
327hp @ 5250rpm
360lbft @ 2000rpm
Optional 3V 5.4l V8:
5.4l Modular V8 with single overhead camshafts per bank, and variable valve timing.
307hp @ 5350rpm
374lbft @ 3500rpm

Is that an Aussie only vehicle? They need to release those over here.
Would still like to get my hands on a mid 70's Falcon. Falcon XC Cobra was a great vehicle (thought the XA/XB models were no slackers either).

i got all jittery just reading the title from the forums home page! my god i love this car!!!! love it love it LOVE IT!!!you know what? im starting to think that i like this car more than the 05... i know i know,
but its sooooo goood!!!! 
and one more thing, why dont WE have that straight six over here?!?!?!?! that would totally rock in the base stang and in the ranger and in the explorer!!!

I wouldn't be sad if that took the place of the Focus of Fusion.
I saw in a recent Motor Trend (I know, MT isn't very reliable, so take it for what its worth), article name was something like "top 10 vehicles we'd like to see sold in the US that aren't", that Ford has thought about bringing the Falcon here, but the with the current design it would be too expensive to reengineer to a left hand drive vehicle (Aussie drivers sit on the other side of the car). So there may be some hope when the car is redesigned. But I gotta agree with James, it would probably fill a market that Ford is already attacking with other cars.

360 lb/ft of torque at 2000 rpms!! Talk about a torque monster. Great post Zoran..... I think I may be moving to Austrailia now
