Need help,

This morning I went to start the car and it wouldn't start, figured I was out of gas. So I grab one of our gas tanks and put 1-2 gallons of gas into.

Now it has gas to get me to a gas station.

Go to start it, it starts, after pumping the throttle.
Car is started at this point, idles smoothly and everything seems normal

Now here is my problem. I get out and notice a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust, I leave it to idle while putting gas up and grab some stuff. Get back, it's still smoking. So I turn it off and leave it and take my truck instead.

So, could a head gasket gone bad. Or could I have had some bad gas that I put in it.

Need some input on what it might be and what I can do to find out for sure what it is.

White smoke is a sign of burning coolant which typically is a blown head gasket. a fuel problem, if smoke was present , would burn black smoke. Is your coolant abnormally low and it should smell sweet if your burning coolant

That won't have anything to do with it you are getting smoke from the exhaust (combustion chamber) if you want to run some sea foam through it and let it run for a while and see of it goes away

I wouldn't drive it just let it idle for a bit so I would fill radiator let it run smell the exhaust a little into it and if it smells sweet and coolant is low you know you have a bad head gasket
