turn signal in dash HELP

so i went to make a right hand turn and put the turn sig on and it clicks really fast like a bulb is out (sometimes it does it sometimes it doesnt) but what i do know is when it happens the turn sig light in the dash does not blink. i have looked up wiring for the cluster but see nothing for turn sig in the cluster diagrams i dont know if the outside bulbs blink or not since ever time i notice it im driven and also have no clue on if its doing it cuz the bulb in the dash is messed up or not

any ideas ???

First idea....start the car in park....parking brake on... then activate the turn signal and get out of the car and look at the lights. One in the front and two in the back on each side.

maybe?? the other day i was driving at night and say no blinking from the front right i looked at the bulb its fine though

cars going in to have front end looked at .. it is squeaking alot thinking maybe i have dry rotted bushing or ball joints or something since its a 20 year old car but only 90K miles on it im guessing there all original parts thats why im thinking dry rot

i really need to get the haynes type books on this car .. LOL

Use a digital volt meter to verify that there is voltage at the light socket. If there, replace the bulb....if not.....follow the harness back and check for voltage at each plug you come to on that harness.

If a bulb fits a bit loose in a socket it can cause the on/off issues you see. Also, corroded bulbs will do the same. Before I went to a shop, I would replace all bulbs in the turn
/park system on the outside of the car plus clean the sockets.

Easy task.....
