Has anyone else had a problem with the rear window seal coming loose on a 1999-2004 mustang? The seal at the bottom of the window right above the trunk.

Yes, mine also is doing it. I have not had it fixed yet but I believe Glass Masters or something can fix it. It has been like this for a while, just havnt gotten around to fixing it.

It has not leaked or anything in the trunk or the back window shelf but yours could be worse then mine. But yes, mine is doing it.

My car is still under warranty so i had ford fix it, but this is the second time it came loose. It doesnt leak but it seems like it lets moisture in and on cold rainy mornings i have to leave the defrost on. My old 95 convertible never had defrost issues.

This happened to my '04 and it is probably do to the heat in Las Vegas, my guess. Anyway, there seems to be a couple of clips attaching to the bottom of the rear window that hold this seal in place. I've reattached it a couple of times, but it will not stay. I need to add 2-3 more clips to help hold this in place, but can't find a source for the clips. Any one got a lead on these clips?

Mine has loosened as well. I attribute it to a combination of my various loud stereo systems, hard driving (with FTSB, RTSB and SFCs stiffening up the chassis) and heat/cold cycles with the weather.

I too, haven't gotten around to dealing with it. Looking for suggestions.
