Aren't those A4s?

I've got CR-1s in non suede lol. pretty good seats, much more supportive and stable feeling than stock. totally changes the driving experience. however, ive got a split in one of the leather patches, but i suspect thats because of how haphazardly i get in and out of the car. if you made an effort to preserve it, theyd prob be fine

Ahh i stand, err type, corrected! Looks like the cr1's have more support and the holes for the harness are much different. Haha im debating on the cr1's, a4's or maybe a set of recaros?

Not my personal experience, but a road racer here says he lost a race once because his reclining Corbeau mechanism failed (I assume laying him down at just the wrong tiime). He said they have a cheap recline mechanism; I've seen lots of fixed back ones at the track and they seem fine. Corbeau overall are the cheapest 'name brand' out there, Recaro is several steps up in quality. Also check out Sparco.

Hasnt happened to me but that isnt overly suprising. they are pretty good seats, but theres definitely a little bit of cheapness here and there on them. i dont like how the recline mechanism feels either

Thanks for the tip on the reclining mech. I wouldnt want that happenin on the track, especially on the road. Its just i still plan on usin the backseat from time to time so bein able to fold the seat forward would be convenient. Startin to look at fixed backs now tho. Anyone think the new recaros in the boss could fit in a new edge bidy?

I too wanna do a seat change for my summer project. I hate the Ford Taurus seats my GT came with. Since my car came with leather I feel I gotta get leather racing seats but they're sooooooooo much!! Let me know what you decide and how much too. Thanks!

I just ordered some OMP Style seats, $440 a piece, half the price of the one other reclining seat I've found that offers a 5th slot anti-submarine strap hole (other than the Corbeau, of course), which is the Recaro Speed.

My question for any of you that have done this, is the seatbelt. It seems attached to the seat, and I'm wanting to still use the 3 points, so how do I get it attached to the car/floorpan?

Thanks!
