Exclamation Need Help ASAP!!!! - TIRE RUBBING

So I recently purchased a wheel/tire kit from AM for my 2001 v6. Black Bullitts 17x9, 275/40-17 all around. After installation, I experienced a whining, rubbing noise whenever I turned the wheel sharply to the left or right (i.e. pulling in/out of a parking space). I initially had an alignment done at the local shop and I recently brought the car back so they could check it out. Turns out that the front tires are touching the sway bar and I was told that they are simply too big for the vehicle.

I purchased the set from AM because I wanted a true Mustang tire that would be 100% compatible and have no issues. I contacted them and told me that they've sold thousands of these tires/wheels and never had any issues. My car is completely bone stock.

I'm not sure what I should do in this scenario. Are there any other reasons that would cause this problem? Could wheel spacers could solve the problem?

those tires shouldnt be too wide, they come with 245's. Are you sure its not rubbing on a fender liner that's maybe hanging down where it shouldnt?

I'm guessing this is the package you bought?

if that's the case, there shouldn't be any rubbing, and certainly not on a sway bar

Perhaps the wheels got mixed up with a 05-09 set, and that's what you got. Worth investigating on the offset anyway.
