Grille delete question.

I'm sure this has been posted in the past, so i'll start by saying sorry for a repost. After the forum changes lots of threads were lost so I couldn't search the real old ones.

Anyways, I want to get the mach1 grille delete, probably from 50resto.com. I want to know if it's a quick removal and install? Or does the entire bumper have to come off (or something complicated like that)?

Also, 50resto has 2 kits, a 2 pc. and a 3 pc. Will I need the 3pc. kit which has the 'header trim panel'? Or will the 2pc be fine?

I looked at my grille and it seemed like it would be easy but I wanted to make sure there were not any hidden obstacles, etc...

Any info/answers would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

I plan on doing this soon, but havent yet so I dont have any first hand experience to draw upon. That said, check here http://www.mustangtuning.com/mustang...tructions.html for instructions on the install.
It's pretty easy.

The difference between the 2- and 3-piece kit is mostly the visual quality, as far as I know. The 3-piece is supposedly easier to install, as it includes the mounting bracket. It also makes for a cleaner look as well. The two piece really only adds the blackout panel that runs along the bottom and up the sides of the grille opening to the pony. If I had the money I would go with the 3 piece, but I think either one will be fine as long as no one is kneeling down and staring at your grille.

Thanks Dan

That's what I wanted to know. I'll go with the 3 pc. kit, it seems worth it for only a few bucks more.
