I took off the cheap chrome valve covers. Gave a fresh coat of universal black engine enamel to the stockers and put them back. I kept the stainless steel studs & nuts and the chrome load spreaders so they don't look so dull.

New internal transmission wiring arrived. I'll try to install it tomorow if possible.

Update... ish

The car's body has deteriorated a lot. Trunk area has rusted through, headliner & sunvisors are done for due to water leaks. Brakes have seized. I'm looking at the possibility to part it out as a donor to v8 swap the green 96 since that shell's in way better shape.

Sorry To Hear Of Your Sick Pony But Donor V8 Parts Living On in a Better Steed is Preferable To Just Crushing It!

Still debatimg what to do with the piles of junk lol. I bought a wire feed welder a few years ago, but never even tested it. This could be a good oportunity to learn how to use it.

Wow, sorry to hear about you pony. I assume the salt water in the air takes it toll on cars, especially if they sit. Hope you find a good solution or replacement to take it's place.
