is it too late to put on a supercharger? i read somewhere that after 50,000 miles you shouldnt supercharge your car.

That's a bunch of misinformation. If the car has been properly maintained then 70K isn't even broken in yet. Supercharge away!

A supercharger is exactly what that 2V needs to bring it to life. Milage doesn't matter on a carried for pony.

+1 I've heard 150k is pushing it. 70k should be more than fine.

I have a buddy with a 96 Cobra with a procharger. His car now has 130,000 miles on. The last 80,000 miles were boosted and still runs great.

GO FOR IT!

70,000 miles is WAY TOO MANY to be gowing forced induction! DON'T do it! Your car will explode!.....jk.....I'd do it to my '65 and it has 100K+ miles.

I would be forced to assume that "Complete and Ready To Run" means that it is fairly complete, and should almost be ready to run.

You're thinking turbo, bro, not supercharger. Turbo's use exhaust to spin up, unlike superchargers.
