2004 sunroof option?

When we got our Mustang the first thing I did was to locate a stock grill to replace the billet grille the PO had installed. The guy that sold us his told me the sunroof in our car was a very rare option. From all I have searched for and read, it is not a factory option. yet ours is not your typical aftermarket fit and finish. It has a power sliding glass roof panel that tilts up then slides back. The interior has a sliding headliner panel that has vents on the back. The fit and finish look factory to me. Did dealers typically offer this option? Anyone else have one?

There was no option from the factory for a sunroof. There were several companies that made kits for aftermarket installation. Just make sure it's sealed right, and you'll be good!
