I was planning on going for a roots type supercharger in the future... What kind of fuel injectors would be good for that application? I pretty much have an idea of what I want to do, except I'm not to sure on the fuel system and ignition system. What do you guys recommend?

 

totally depends on the application. Most s/c are goign to require a 36# or higher, but as long as you arent going crazy, I think alot of folks just used the 2003/2004 cobra injectors (which were 36 if I am remembering right)

 

Most tuners will not touch your car unless it has 42#/hr injectors (green tops). While the 39's from a cobra will work just fine, the 42's are easier for them to tune with and give a little head room so you are not running any more than 80% duty cycle. With that large of an injector, you will also have to upgrade to a high-flow fuel pump like the SVT focus pump.

whats a stock 2004 GT fuel injector? like 20 something lbs?

 

Stock are 24lbs I believe. They upped them from 19lbs from the previous years.

I'm running 42lbs SVT Lightning injectors on my Vortech supercharged '04 GT.

 

The stock 2004 injector is a pink top 21#/hr injector. 24's are blue tops.
