1996 427 stang?

in 94 (edit - it was 1996) i was at a ford dealership and was given some paperwork where you could order a new mustang and have a 427 put in it. i am looking for this paperwork now as i am sure i kept it (somewhere).

this was not through steeda/saleen or another tuner - it was through fomoco.

anyone else know anything about it. after finding some old paperwork - i was reminded and now want to see if any cars were actually ordered.

sometimes you dont realize what you have as i found several fliers that larry shinoda drew up for me on the boss by shinoda stangs as well as some 7up mustang papers from an old guy that won a 7up mustang from 7up and traded it in on a new crown vic...

Me too. I was looking all over, since I just read this. There haven't been any hits that I have found though. Let us know if you find that paper.

ok - i found it!!!
the company was mustang motorsport out of dearborn, MI.
i was wrong about the date - it looks to be for the 1996 model year.
i will scan the sheets and post them soon

i will apologize in advance for the crappy copies as they were faxed to the dealer from the company.

...if any were built at all. remember - the prices listed were for the package price - above and beyond the GT 'starter' car

I think that anyone looking for a Mustang in the 50k range already wouldn't mind the "pocket change" for the GT starter... 50k 'stangs are pretty few and far between as it is.

There might have been a couple made at a dealership or did an engine swap on the car.
