05+ shift **** fit 99

Will the 05+ shift **** use the same thread pattern as the know for the 1999 GT?

I dont believe so. The stores sell ***** specifically for 79-04 and then 05+, and the shifter for the S197s are completely different from the past shifters, so I'm pretty sure that the thread is different.
